Child Rights Information Network (CRIN)

Includes links to resources arranged under theme (e.g. Armed conflict, Child labour, Education, Violence against children), a regional information gateway, an information pages for children, sections on news and events, and lists of publications, many available in full text.

Choike: A Portal on Southern Civil Societies - Southern NGO Web Portal
"A directory of southern Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), grouped in five major thematic fields: the people, society, the environment, globalization and communication." Contains full text documents by CHOIKE and other organisatiions, links to websites on related themes, and reports on campaigns being conducted throughout the world.. Also includes an NGO directory (using Advanced Search it is possible to search the web pages of the sites listed in this directory) and an In-depth reports section.

Human Rights Watch
Includes lists of HRW publications (many downloadable), information on human rights issues arranged by country and theme (including Arms, Children's rights, Counterterrorism, Economic, social and cultural rights, HIV/AIDS, International justice, Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights, Prisons, Refugees, United Nations and Women's rights), details of HRW campaigns, and a section of photo essays.

International Confedaration of Free Trade Unions – ICFTU
"The ICFTU is a confederation of 215 national trade union centres ... in 145 countries and territories, which campaigns to defend workers' rights worldwide." International Council on Human Rights Policy
"The International Council on Human Rights Policy conducts applied policy research on issues that face organisations working in the field of human rights." Contains details of the ICHR's projects, publications and working papers, sometimes available electronically. Also links to other Human rights sites.

Minority Rights Group
Information about the MRG's work, including their campaigns (e.g. on Conflict, Development, Education, Gender, Land) and their advocacy work. Also training manuals, sections on topics such as Development and minority rights and Challenging racial discrimation, and a Features and analysis section dealing with current concerns. Several publications and reports can be downloaded; others can be bought online form the online bookshop.

U.S. Department of State country reports on human rights
Full text of reports from 1999 onwards. "Submitted annually by the U.S. Department of State to the U.S. Congress. The reports cover internationally recognized individual, civil, political, and worker rights, as set forth in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights".
