Athens Accounts

Athens personal accounts are available to IDS students and staff to enable access to a number of BLDS subscribed electronic resources from off campus.

IDS Athens passwords will allow remote access to BLDS e-journals available at the following services: SwetsWise and IngentaSelect.

To create an Athens personal account you will need an Athens self-registration account. These have been distributed to different groups at IDS to allow staff and students the option of setting up their own password accounts. Instructions are also available from the BLDS enquiry desk.
Note: this process has to be done from a computer on campus

Athens accounts are only valid while you are a student or member of staff at IDS.
