BLDS has subscribed to the World Bank e-library, a comprehensive and easily searchable source of World Bank content.
All content is made available immediately upon release, with no embargo periods (unlike the World Bank Open Knowledge Repository). Additionally, the e-library contains extensive searching and browsing functionality, and users can create individual accounts in order to take advantage of personalised facilities such as saving searches (see Tools for Users for more information).
Access at https://openknowledge.worldbank.org/.
The journals (World Bank Research Observer, World bank Economic Review) and key serials can also be accessed through our e-library search.
Outside IDS, you will need to ‘log in via your institution’ (choose UK Higher Education from list, then when prompted use your IDS network credentials).
We hope you find the service useful.
