Who can use BLDS?
BLDS is a graduate research library. Anyone with an interest in development related research can use us, either in person or remotely.
Remote users
Our catalogue, including subject guides and country profiles, is freely available online, as are a number of other services such as email updates and access to external electronic resources.
You can email 'Ask a librarian' for help in selecting terms for your catalogue search or to locate sources of specific information. We also offer document delivery, with special arrangements for our Southern users, and interlibrary loan services.
Visitors in person
You can visit in person to make use of our extensive document collection and it is also possible to take out paid membership (with the facility to borrow materials).
